A story in pictures. These are mostly me. And the chair. I apologize in advance.
~ye olde chair, we hardly knew ye~
We are gathered here today, ahem, tonight, to pay our respects to this beige (broken, beaten-up, and belittled) chair.
You have served us well and we express our gratitude here.
And now we jettison you properly oh beige chair with a ceremonial drop from the balcony. May your journey bring you peace and disrupt the neighbors downstairs.
O your swift flight over too soon. Beigey you crack, but we cannot break you again.
To the dumpster with you! Your journey will be complete soon!
Heavy you weigh upon our hearts. But mostly my arms.
Passage comes swiftly.
And done is the deed. You have served us well, or at least decently, and we have striven to repay that service with your final burial. Er, disposal. With us for monumentous occasions and boring afternoons alike, here ends the life and times of Beigey, the broken chair.
~ye olde chair, we will probably miss you. a little~
And now a word from our sponsors: Thanks to the photographer, Cerasi. And because I can't help myself, her very own 'Crystal shot':
Very lovely indeed.
This post makes me miss you guys so, so, so, so, SO MUCH.
ReplyDeleteI'm tearing up a little.
COME BACK TO ME, YOU GAIZ.
God, I totally forgot we did that. That was so awkward taking pictures across the street in the middle of the night. The people below us actually closed their blinds. They probably thought I was a pervert.
ReplyDeleteThe Crystal shot is so flattering on the both of us. I mean, damn, that's sexy.
Not enough shmizing in your Krystal shot.
