I learned a lot though, and applied it to this past Saturday's show, which was a lot better. There was a pretty good crowd until later in the afternoon. I sold seven earrings and a necklace and gave away a lot of business cards.
I haven't sold anything online yet, but I should get some more traffic from doing shows. I'll keep you guys posted.
Glad to hear things are finally looking up! It takes time, but as long as you keep working at it! Your displays look LOVELY. So beautifully you. :) GOOD LUCK!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a beautiful, intricate display! Much different than the usual corkboard/black felt of most craft shows.
ReplyDeleteSidenot: What's up with the sticky notes on the fan?
Sticky notes on what fan? In the bottom picture, that's a wire hat mold my mom picked up somewhere. (it's probably old, but I'm not sure) And I hung some of my earrings on there. To display my earring on the white shutters, I folded a brown piece of paper and put my stamp on the bottom. I punch holes for the earring backs and hang them. I put these same paper hangers on the hat mold to add visual interest.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I just found out if you click on the picture it makes it bigger, so you can see what it is better.
It looks super professional and lovely and gorgeous. Best of luck! Thinks will pick up soon, I'm sure.
