Upon a Gust

Spread
like leaves
on the wind

Flying
farther apart
now flying faster

We
hurtle towards
the future now

Without
each other
by our sides

But
always in
our hearts and minds

I
will carry
you with me

We
will fly
on this wind

Together

  2. I love the title. It's super poetic. Like this poem. Now, I'm no good at poetry, so I don't know how valuable my comments will be, but I like the form of each stanza, and how they are in that stair-like form. But I don't know if it is supposed to represent 'wind' in some shape or form? If it is, I'm not sure if it's working for me, and I think it's because I see wind as something that flows, rather than something that seems choppy. I'll get back to you on that.

But if I wrote poetry, these are the sorts of things I can write now also...my stories now are very...emo in that way. (Except yours definitely has a more hopeful tone. ufufufu~)

  3. Aww, this poem makes me smile. I totally know what you mean about this being the only kind of thing you can write right now. That kind of emotion is just so big it kind of fills you up and doesn't leave room for anything else.
