Housekeeping

.. Or rather, blogkeeping.

It is nearly halfway through this month and I don't believe any of us have written something for the Theme of the Month.  Unless I'm mistaken, we were going to write about things that inspired us.

Also, if any of you did write something, or start something or had something in mind, for last month's theme (introducing characters) you could post that, since I think Cylon was the only one of us that did October.  (I was planning on doing more Zombie Apocalypse Plan because I need to introduce some more characters, but with Snapdragon gearing up I didn't seem to find the time.  I am working on it now, so hopefully I'll get more posted soon.)

And (if we want to continue trying to do themes/ prompts...) we will need one for December.  Ideas?

  1. I haven't written anything creative since I've been working in Thailand. It looks like I'm going to have to pass on the next couple of themed months.

As for the December theme, I would be interested in reading dark Christmas stories. :). The stories have to take place during Christmas, and cannot end happily. I'm in the mood for one of those this holiday season. :)

I had my M3/1 students write their own short stories, and some of them were really dark. I'm excited to see what us real dark writers can come up with!

  2. @Allya- I have been neglecting most creative pursuits, but now my work load is lighter and I will try to make up for lost theme months. Let's post more! Go team!

@Ada-Dark Christmas stories, YES! I am super into it. That's exciting that you go to teach a creative writing exercise. (What are M3/1 students?) But I love how you like, "They were pretty dark stories, but I want REALLY twisted stuff. Come on guys, let's go!"

  4. Cerasi, now I KNOW you don't read my Thailand blog. ("What are M3/1 students?" -- PURE PROOOOOF!)

    Jerk.

You can find it in one of my earlier blogs. I'm too lazy to copy and paste. LOL.
